Has Spring finally arrived?? 2013
According to Fema, floods are one of the most common disasters. Most communities experience some flooding due to heavy rains, storms, or the winter snow thaw. While your vehicle may not have been flooded, you should still consider possible water damage. Even if you drove through a little high water. You can check some things and we can do the rest.
Check carpets upholstery, and door trim panels. If they are wet the vehicle will need professional attention. If you only let the carpet dry, you will quickly be rewarded with mildew and nasty odors. Seat brackets. motors, and modules also should be checked for rust and proper operation.
Pull the engine oil and transmission fluid dipsticks and differential plug. If the fluid appears milky or beige in color, then the pan may contain water. The vehicle should be towed to us. Driving the vehicle with water present may damage internal parts and require extensive repairs.
check exterior lights for moisture and water. Replace headlight bulbs & any other that contain water.
